1.Snipping

That is Windows built-in Tool. So, Windows comes with an
inbuilt Snipping tool which enables you to take screenshots easily. By using
this tool, you can choose which part of the window or screen we want to Snip or
we can capture the entire screen. Snipping tool also provides the facility to
Snip in a free form shape, as well as the facility to Snip in a rectangular
shape. Here is how to use the Snipping tool to take screenshots:
1. Click on the Start button and
type Snipping Tool.
2. Then, select the Snipping
tool.
3. Now a small window will
open. This is the Snipping tool.
4. Then select the drop-down
arrow next to the NEW option, where you will be asked to choose among Free Form
Snip, Rectangular Snip, Window Snip, and Full-Screen Snip. Choose whichever
option you prefer and select the area you want to take a screenshot of.

options to copy snips to the clipboard, prompt to save snips before exiting, as
well as allowing you to select the ink color with which you want to select your
snips.
2. Using Print Screen key
With that method, you can easily take a screenshot without
any third party software. On your keyboard, you will find the PrtScn key right
next to the F key series. let see how to capture a screenshot using PrtScn key:
- When you want to take the screenshot from your display, press the PrtScn key in your keyboard that right next to the F key series.
- Then search Paint in the search box of Taskbar.

of the entire screen using PrtScn key & Paint, this method
deals with capturing a screenshot of just your active desktop window. Here’s
how,
1. Press Alt+PrtScn key.
2. Then, click on the Start button and type Paint and
press enter.
3. Press CTRL + V key to paste that screenshot. Then,
your screenshot will appear now.
4. Using the Windows key
This is the easiest method that you can take a screenshot
without using any software. With only two buttons in your keyboard, you can take
a screenshot easily. As mention above that doesn’t require any software
usage.
1. Press Win+PrtScn keys.
2. Now the open Computer and navigate to Pictures under This PC.

5. The Command Prompt method
You can even use Command Prompt in order to take
screenshots. Other methods may be quicker and easier to follow than that
method, but this one is really useful too. Here are the steps,

as NirCmd,

Under the Available Windows section, it shows thumbnail previews of opened windows on your PC desktop. If you want to get a screenshot of the available window, just select its thumbnail. Then its screenshot will be displayed in the Word Document. If you want to manually take a screenshot from the screen, then click the Screen Clipping button and continue with the next steps.
Step 3: After the Screen Clipping
button is clicked, the Word screen temporarily exists and a transparent haze
covers the whole screen. Navigate to the area where you want to take a
screenshot, then press and hold the left mouse button to select
and highlight the area.
Step 4: Release the left mouse
button. The selected area on the screen can be captured and displayed in the
Word document. Also, the Picture Tools is opened. You can edit the screenshot
as your desire.
If
you want to save the screenshot, right click on it and select Save as Picture
from the menu. Then give it a name, select one image format (*.png, *.jpg,
etc.), and select one location to save the screenshot as a picture.
